What headphones should i get for 300$ or less?

My HyperX clouds are basically done. The earcups dont stay on anymore because of how much i've dropped them.

I am thinking of either getting a pair of wireless headphones, like the Logitech g933. Or is the sound really that much better on a pair of really nice headphones like the Sennheiser HD598 + a sound card? Is it worth the trade-off of not being wireless?
The games i play are mostly CS:GO and Team fortress 2. I also listen to a bit of music, but not very often.
I already have a blue snowball, so the mic isnt an issue.

any decent set of headphones will completely blow away gaming headsets in terms of audio quality. i would suggest a nice wired set of hifi cans.

as far as what fits your needs.. you will want to let us know what kind of sound signature you want, open or closed, etc. i suggest reading some of my other posts on the matter to get an idea as well.
