Trying to connect a ps3 controller and I mostly find answers for wireless but what if my laptop doesn't have Bluetooth?

Many laptops don't include one but you can buy a thumbnail size USB Bluetooth radio device quite cheaply.

Search e-Bay for USB Bluetooth.
