What is a good software to record stuff on the PC

Like if i wanted to record some game footage or if i was say watching somthing online and wanted to records it and save it to my pc what would i use for that???

If you have a TV tuner and Windows 7, you can use Windows Media Center. Another good free program is Next PVR: http/www.nextpvr.com/

You may simply download it via differential downloading utility like Internet Download Manager.
or
If you are some thing greater than that so you need a kinda keylogger utility for record every activity on PC like activity-logger.com

Just wanting to record myself playing games then uploade the gameplay footage to like youtube and also be able to record videos or stuff i watch online to my pc

Buy "Fraps". You can try it first before buying. It has a free version too but you won't be able to use the full features.
