Must be, because HDMI 3.0 hasn't been announced and to my knowledge doesn't even exist on paper yet.

Way back in the day ... some folks used to use hdmi 3 and hdmi 4 to refer to hdmi 1.3 and 1.4 respectively. Is it possible you mean this?

I'm guessing it's the 3rd planet in the HDMI system in an upcoming Star Wars movie. It would be for storing spare Death Star parts.
