Its not recommended to put either Cpus in a deep fat frier that usually causes them to break.

On topic i5s are usually the way to go for gaming if you need it for other things let me know.

Only if the i5 is of 2nd, 3rd or 4th Generation.

Also the AMD APU's are not recommended by me at all. They are just good for budgets less than 300 dollars. Anything more than that should have a discrete graphics card.

Also if you are buying the i5 you would need a graphics card to enjoy games.
