what is the best operating system for the Samsung RV510 laptop?

General OS question pertaining to Samsung RV510 laptop. This laptop is consistently cutting out to do updates as I just obtained it & performed a factory reset. Frustrating. Was hoping this was an easy question for someone out there. Thanks.

Any brand new OS, be it Win7, Win8, Linux, whatever.....will have an initial round of updates.
Just let it run. It will be done soon.
