I did not ask for you to bypass any password, lock codes or pin numbers. I simply asked what is a "root password"?

To be honest, what you said was 'what is the root password' (in both created threads). Which would be asking for a root password. Hence my original response. Rather than saying 'what is a root password'. Which then I would would have just given you info on what it is.

What system are you running? Is it an Android phone or a flavour of Linux?

The former shouldn't require a password for the root login and if the latter is Kali try toor.
