What Laptop should I buy for University?

Hi guys,

I need a laptop for University. I will be doing a Bachelor of Information Technology in Australia. The laptop will be used predominantly for programming. I have a maximum budget of $1000-1200. This laptop needs to have a good battery with a quality build to it. I've researched it i can't seem to choose one. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been looking at JB Hi Fi, Centrecom, Msy and a few others. I'm leaning towards this laptop; http/www.centrecom.com.au/asus-k501ux-dm136t-156-full-hd-core-i5-gtx-950m-performancemultimedia-laptop#

Also the Asus F555Uj but it's build quality isn't the best. I'm open to other suggestions.

Honestly, the dell inspiron 7559 will be my go to recommendation ever since I saw a couple vids on it.
