Hi, I'm looking for a basic gaming laptop, nothing to fancy, it'll just be fore basic gaming such as Minecraft, Telltale games and simple stuff like that. I'm not bothered about it being new, I've been looking at some that have been refurbished and I'm currently looking at this one: Link

My only worry is the low reviews, allot of them however are due to the fact it's windows 8 and that the people who have bough it don't understand how to use the software.

Thoughts? and if you have any recommendations I'd appreciate it, I'm looking for the laptop to be under £400.

Thanks for any help given :)

It will be pretty decent if you can down the price that is closer to the Lenovo Z50-75 for £399.99.

It seems Lenovo's site has a typo. There is no such thing as a Radeon R6 M255 graphics chip, but there is the Radeon R5 M255. The R5 M255 is rated to be similar to the GT 820m in overall performance. The dual core i5-4210u should be at least as powerful as the quad core A10-7300 APU. I would say that if the vouchers can knock off at least £50, then the Lenovo Z50 that you linked to should be a good buy.

See my recommendation below:

1. Lenovo Y40-80. With online eCoupons, you can get the price down to around $600 USD (fits your budget).

Awesome, now the only thing the OP needs to do is immigrate to the US because that deal only applies to the US which means it will only be shipped to a US address.

I recommend the Lenovo Z50-75 for £379.99 which has an A10-7300 and the Radeon R6 (Kaveri) integrated graphics core that is more powerful than the Radeon HD 8610g in the refurbished laptop. The Radeon R6 (Kaveri) is about as powerful as a GT 720m.

There is a £399.99 version with a dedicated Radeon R6 M255 graphics chip, but I do not know how powerful it is.

These laptops come with a 1920x1080 resolution screen, but you need to play games at 1366x768 or maybe 1600x900 because the graphics are not that powerful.
