Hi all, I want to purchase a new Laptop this month (Jan-Feb).I want a Gaming laptop. But I am running Out of Budget.
I have to sacrifice Either on Gpu or Cpu for Laptop. So what should i do now?Should I wait for 1 Year and save some Bucks to Buy a Gaming Laptop?Need Suggestions

My Budget - 35000/- rs. (700$) Indian

Solution
You would be hard pressed to find a decent gaming laptop for $700 bucks, I would wait. Because it makes no sense to sacrifice a GPU on a gaming laptop.

It also depends on what you want to play. If like to play AAA titles like BF4, then no way.

Waiting would be a better option especially since it is more difficult to upgrade a laptop.

Again i have to sacrifice CPU on These Both🙁

Yep I want to play these games the FPs ones.

I am also thinking of waiting for one year.will the price will be reduced on these laptops after 1 year?

To get a decent gaming laptop your looking at least $1200. They are a lot more expensive than a desktop for a mulitude of reasons

I have a Haswell i7 gaming laptop with the a top of the line GPU, Nvidia's 780M and it set me back more than double you budget and it was a great deal

I' am Thinking of it.

You can always buy a refurbished one.

Also typically new gaming laptops come out in the summer-that when last years models will drop in price. The problem is so much precision and engineering goes into creating a laptop of that nature.

Decide what you will be playing and what you are comfortable with in regards to settings. From there you can start to track pricing and see if something drops suddenly and then pick it up

i3 3110M is ideal laptop processor.

Ok. One more question HP G6 Laptop are disappearing from market so i can assume that the new series (E and N) can be disappeared in future.

i5 3230 beats it.

The general rule is that as the new models come out the older ones depreciate in value but some laptops retain their value better than others. You also run to the problem that when you buy an older model current and future games wont play as well for obvious reasons but that's okay as long as you understand your machines limitations.

As an aside: the typical rule of thumb is that for gaming with current gen titles a 4 core processor is ideal-both of those have two, although it really depends on the game.
