I am going to buy a buy a new laptop for my work but since I like gaming I am considering Acer predator helios 300 i5 GTX 1060 6gb 16 GB ram 128 GB SSD so will it be great or my current pc is having i3 4150 6gb DDR3 ram and amd r7 240 1 GB gddr5 gpu so I am considering to update pc to GTX 1060 and 8gb ram but there can a be problem of bottle neck but it will be a cheap option so what you guys would suggest buying a gaming laptop or upgrade pc and get lower end laptop for work

Something like this, bit less than $700 will go a long way. It's simply impossible to get such performance out of a similar priced laptop. These parts will be a huge upgrade.

If you travel a lot for work and are rarely home, I'd suggest a gaming laptop. But if not, definitely go for pc upgrades + simple laptop for worky stuff.
