Solved! What to do when your laptop doesnt reconize one of the sims disks on windows 7?

So, I was looking at the questions asked so far, but couldn't find the one that worked for me specifically. Here's the problem: I want to play The Sim's Complete Edition, however, during installation, my laptop keeps saying that the second disk is not in when it is. I doubt it is Windows 7 fault, but I need to know what to do since I have Windows 7 (most answers are for XP users). I've made sure that the disk was sitting level, but it still won't recognized the CD. Ironically, the CDs work fine on our home computer that has Windows 7. I need help.

Try cleaning the CD with soapy water.
You can also swap out the CD/DVD drives and use the one on the computer that has Windows 7 to get the game installed.
