I use a 27 inch Proscan 4:3 analog tv and a 30 inch 16:9 Phillips HD crt
tube tv.
I find that the analog Proscan set shows the subtle differences between
LD players much better than the Philips set, as the Proscan doesn't
introduce digitalization into the picture.
My main players are a Pioneer LD S2 and a Pioneer HLD X9.

Mine are Sony 32" wide CRT + Panasonic LX-HD20 & Sony 29" 4:3 CRT + Pioneer
CLD-D925.
