Question What usb

Hi all. Just about to leave virgin . I have a jvc 49 in 4k smart tv. Lt-49c870(a). Going back to my aerial. After reading my manual I've noticed I should be able to record and pause tv if I plug in a usb storage device. In the entertainment part it says usb with 2gb minimum. Do all usb work and which would be best . Don't want to waste money.

Any USB will work for this, however, when you try using it it will have to be formatted and that will wipe out everything currently on it. If you then don't want to use it and want to use it for a computer again, then you will have to format it again.

If you use an external hard drive for this, you may need to get one with it's own power source, there are quite a few TVs that can't power external drives. Using a flash drive should be fine.
