Solved! What's that chipset?

Hello,

I just had my ASUS laptop repaired.
They replaced one chipset, and I am curious to know what it is?
It's the one circled in green on the picture.

Funny thing, ASUS quoted me 1200USD to repair the laptop. Then it took another guy 4 months to not be able to fix it.
And finally, another guy quickly glanced at it and promptly replaced the chipset for 180USD.
All working now!

That's either the northbridge or southbridge chip http://hardwaretexpert.blogspot.com/2010/11/northbridge-vs-southbridge.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chipset Probably the southbridge as the north one should be closer to the CPU and in some newer systems it's not even there with the function done by the CPU and southbridge as the other chip controlling things on the motherboard.
