Tech is continuing to evolve at an incredible rate, with much of that progress being made in personal communication devices. While we haven't quite hit the bar set by Star Trek: The Next Generation with their communicator pins, there is still a lot of cool tech to enjoy.

The increase of display to body ratio. It's amazing how we can use a relatively compact(ish) phone with a 6.8" diagonal.
