When using cable to connect to tv it buzzes loudly

I want to use my blue tooth speaker with my tv which isn't blue tooth so when connecting it via a aux lead it buzzes loudly? Am I using wrong Cable?

It's not the cable. You probably have ground loop.
If you have cable TV disconnect the cable from your cable box or TV. If the noise goes away then this should work.
