Where can i sell my laptop, for a good price

A given laptop will sell differently in Boston or Boise.
What is it?

But generally, ebay or craigslist.

ebay is a pretty good indicator of what people will pay for it. What you want to sell it for is not necessarily what I (or anyone else) wants to pay for it.

PC's and laptops fall in price quite quickly.

As we have no idea of what laptop this is or how much you are seeking to get for it.....completely unknown.

Craigslist is typically the easiest way to do it. You can ask whatever you want, but ultimately its up to the buyer to negotiate how much he is willing to pay. You could probably charge 50-70 extra due to the new HDD and Windows.

A valid Windows license on a used laptop increases the value $0
No Windows license decreases it by $50.

IMHO, of course.

It's mainly the HDD increasing the price. If he had Windows 8.1 he could advertise it as a new and upgraded laptop which might play a trick in some peoples minds, making them willing to pay more. It'd be on the lower end ~$50, maybe into the 40s.

Still, we know nothing about this particular laptop. Might be good, might be crap.

You have to do the math as well - when you go to sell your laptop you have to take into account depreciation which is relatively easy to calculate, and that gives you the book value. If you sell over the book value it's a gain on sale, but if you sell below it's a loss on sale.
