Where signal will draw

I live in Southwestern Riverside county in southern California.
We currently give our cable stations from Los Angeles but we actually are closer to San Diego. Where would I get my signal from?

Solution
The closer you are to the transmitter tower the better the over the air signal will be so I would guess that San Diego would be better. An omnidirectional antenna pulls from all directions so you might be able to pull in channels from both. A directional antenna will probably have more gain resulting in more channels or at least stronger signal strength which makes the channels more reliable.
