Solved! Where to buy ASUS N43SN with I7?

I have been trying to find a english site where I can buy this awesome machine,it seems to me this is the most powerful sub 15'' in the world but I just cant find it on any english sites.

Doing a google search for the model number Asus N43SN-VX068V will get me one english site:
http/www.ultra-laptops.com/laptops/manufacturers/pos/asus_n43sn
The rest of the results are polish sites that I do not really trust.

The laptop can be seen on http/www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=kF449KlaEsgljj6c and it specifically says that some models will contain the Intel® Core™ i7 2630QM.

So the question is, do anyone know where and when this laptop will be available?

Well if you look at the page, in small print it states "Product specifications may differ from country to country. We recommend that you check with your local dealers for the specifications of the products available in your country."

Try here http/support.asus.com/contactus.aspx?SLanguage=en, ask them directly.

I have no intention to phone asus and that seems to be the only option from where I live on that site.

As you said the website also says that specific models may only be sold in specific countries but it makes no sence to me why they would only sell this laptop in poland and nowhere else.

If you call them you can find out (maybe, they probably won't hand out marketing strategy to everyone), we can guess for the next 2 years till there is a faster model and the whole thing is moot.

Well you can buy the N43SN in Asia, China/Singapore, have been able to do so for a few months now.

But you are correct I don't understand why Asus don't sell this laptop in the UK/USA, its utter madness!!

I actually paid for an i7 N43SN from a Polish website http/www.x-kom.pl/szukaj/asus_n43sn they are fine, i transferred money via bank transfer, crazy thing is from the UK it was going to be cheaper to Fly and collect it rather than get them to courier it out.. go figure....

Anyhow, I just heard from them on Friday and after 3 delays in shipping, they said Asus yanked the i7 model because they couldn't get blueray drives because if the earthquakes in Japan causing shortage in supply.

Needless to say I am gutted, I could swap for the i5 model and upgarde the CPU myself but i'm over it, i'm considering a refund, perhaps ill get a Lenovo Ideapad Y470 (same spec as N43SN) or Dell Alienware M14x (better spec GT555), who knows... seriously.... I give up.
