Where to find the reset button on a samsung galaxy tablet without backing up data

I'm giving my tablet away and I want to delete all my data and use the reset button to do so

There may not be a button as such, but you can go into the android settings menu and look for the restore feature, and let it run.

Yeah, under Settings>Backup & Reset>Factory Data Reset.

Also, holding both volume buttons and the power button when you turn it on should get you to the bootloader, and there's an option in there for similar, but IIRC it won't wipe the emulated SD card.
