Hello to all of you,

I have build my own computer recently with following specs:

- Motherboard: gigabyte h87m-d3h
- Graphics card: GeForce GTX 660
- CPU: intel i5 4460
- HDD: Seagate 1 TB
- Memory: Ballistix sport 8 gb
- Power: Corsair CX500M
- Windows 7

What I want to do is to build my own speaker system using a car subwoofer and amp. I know that it is just easier to buy something but I want to built one myself.

So, which cables do I exactly need and where to insert them in the motherboard?

I kinda found this on youtube http:// I have no idea if that will work.

If you are getting speakers that use speaker wires you will need some sort of receiver or amp to power the speakers and connect them. Then you just connect the amp/speaker to your computer via the 3.5mm jacks, usb, or optical port (whichever both of them support).

If it's connected to an amp (separate power) turning up the volume will not harm his computer. If anything it will blow out the speakers or amp (basically anything but the computer)
