Which gaming laptop should I buy "MSI GS60 6QE PRO GHOST" OR "MSI GE72 6GF APACHE PRO"?

They both have advantages over the other , for me i like the design of the GE72 more , plus it has a bigger screen , but the GS60 got better performance in gaming , i want to choose one that doesn't heat up so much and got better overall features and can handle games coming out on upcoming years and has a longer future

gtx 970m + 3GB DDR5

MSI GS60 6QE (15.6")

16GB ram
128 SSD + 1TB HDD

just from the specs the GS60 got the lead but is it really that big of a difference?

Both laptops will perform the same in games as no games will utilize the additional 2 GB of Video RAM the gtx 970m in the GS60 HAS. So you have the choice of going with the one you like in terms of appearance. Personally because i know how important cooling is in especially a gaming laptop, I usually go for ASUS gaming laptops for my self and persons who ask me to recommend for them- The Asus laptops have better cooling systems but are a little heavier because of this advance cooling system.

interesting i may give some ASUS laptops a look but is it true that having a larger screen and a larger chassis means that heat is spread better so a larger laptop is better in gaming? because even though that's the case between these 2 laptops , the GS60 is smaller but it got more ventilation openings , it got more on the sides and over the keyboard while the GE72 got only in the back so could that affect my decision? or is it also not going to make a huge difference?

That is really people's opinion. There are huge laptops (many) with poor ventilation. There are just some laptops that are designed with better heat sinks and air flow. What is your max budget ?
