Which gaming laptop to get?

So I'm moving to my hostel, so will have to get a laptop. My friend has offered me to take any 1 of his 2 laptops in exchange for my PC. Both the laptops are over a year old. So which do you suggest I should choose?

Get Asus laptop from flipkart, it has whopping 24GB RAM and almost identical other hardware specs to Alienware. I also think that Alienwares are bit over priced machines so Asus is definitely the good choice.

But,
Both laptops have older gen processors and graphics processors so I recommend you to find newer laptop models. Tell me if you need help in finding it.

Hi Johnson, the thing is, I'm being offered used laptops. I have to choose any one among these, so price isn't an issue. Also, the Asus had 3d screen. Is it any useful? I mean, is it a real thing or just a gimmick?

My pick would probably be the ASUS. Although the Alienware should be well built as well.

If its written in specs sheet then it shouldn't be gimmick but I don't think thats required or useful feature. In your case I would recommend you to get that Asus laptop. It has got really nice specs inside. Alienware is good looking and it might turn heads around while carrying or using it but specs wise I will recommend you to get Asus. if you really don't need much power and happy with mediocre performance then go with Alienware.
