which is a better choice for around $650?

MSI EX460 w/ C2D T6600, ATI HD4330, 4GB RAM
or
ASUS K40AD-VX w/ Athlon II M300X2, ATI HD4570, 4GB RAM?

Thanks....

casual gaming mostly RTS games, med settings is ok for me.....
HD4330<<HD4570, but the Athlon II M300 is a fairly new procie w/ not so many reviews....
i'm currently using a MSI EX401 w C2D T6400, HD3430, which i'm planning to sell, my budget falls between the two mentioned above or the ASUS K40IN w/ C2D T6500, 4GB RAM, GF G102M, but GF G102M<HD4330<HD4570...
i know games now are mostly GPU dependent so i'm leaning towards the ASUS K40AD-VX, but i worry about the AMD procie....

Thanks....

Do you already have all the other components? Like a power supply, dvd drive, hard drive, case monitor and an operating system?

Even for casual gaming on medium settings i would go for something along the lines of a 4850. It will last much much longer performance wise and wont break the bank.

Let us know what components you have and which one you need and we will go from there.

yea i have been hearing that for a long time too that AMD's mobile CPU's don't even come close to Intel CPU's in performance. but kudos to those 2 laptops man i too would stay away from the likes of Dell and HP.

@frozen
thanks....

That's what i worry, the procie but if it were the Turion II M540 i've read good reviews about it performance-wise. then i found this Acer Aspire AS4740G-334G50Mn w/ core i3-330m and GF 310M gpu, but only 2gb DDR3 RAM, but you can upgrade it to 4GB though...
now i've got another choice, darn this... :pt1cable: :ouch: 😱
