I am gonna buy a new laptop but I am confused between graphic cards. Which is better between Amd radeon r7 m270(4gb) and nividia 840m(2gb). Please help and thanx in advance.

m270(4gb) thats a better choice as it has 4gb of ram supports dx12 and has 128 bit of bus with better technology altho the 840m has 2000hz while r7 has 1000hz of core speed it has more cores and the bit of the 840m is 64 so go for the r7

The amd r7 is the better choice as you will be able to play games from 2014/2015 at low to med settings whereas the gt 840m is only capable of playing games from 2013/2014. The main reason is that the gt 840m operates using a smaller memory bus (64 rather than 128) than the r7.

i had a similar confusion , which is better amdr7 m270( 4gb ddr3) or nvidia 940m(2gb ddr3)
most of the sites shows 940m will be better performance wise , is it true ?

The gt 940m is the same as the gt 840m with only 8-10% overclocked. The r7 270m still would be faster.
