Which is the better laptop? Please help!

I don't have knowledge on these techy stuff and I need your help to pick which laptop is better for gaming. And if you have time, can you please explain why one is better than the other. I would really appreciate it. Here are the specs:

Laptop 1: Acer Aspire E5-575G-72111
- 8GB DDR4
- Window 10 OS
- i7-7500U 4CPU (7th Gen)
- 2TB HDD 2.5inch 5400 RPM
- 15.6-inch FHD 1920x1080
- NVIDIA 940MX with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM + 2GB intel 620vc = total 4GB
- I year warranty

Laptop 2: ASUS X556UQ
- Windows 10 OS
- i7-7500U 3.5ghz 4CPU
- 12GB DDR4 RAM
- 1TB HDD
- 2GB 940MX NVIDIA DDR3
- 15.6 inch FHD Reso

For games the 1st laptop would be a little better because the 940mx uses DDR5 VRAM instead of the slower DDR3 RAM. I do not know what "+ 2GB intel 620vc" means, but dedicated GPUs like the 940mx will only use dedicated VRAM that is installed with the GPU.

The i7-7500u is actually a dual core CPU; it does not have 4 cores. However, using Hyper Threading it can process 4 threads of data rather than just 2 threads.
