Solved! Which laptop is best for uni?

I'm trying to decide which laptop is most suitable for uni. So far I have a few in mind and im trying to decide which would be best. If there are any laptops you guys recommend, my budget is around $1500 ($2000 max) (Australia). they need to have a decent battery life to last me for the day. i7, 16GB ram and a decent storage capacity would be preferred.

"Decent battery life" does not mix well with neither i7 nor 16gb. And decide whether you'll be gaming or studying. With that budget, you can get a light laptop for the day, and good desktop for the dorm.
