Which laptop is better for gaming ?

Hello! I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop that will also be used as a desktop replacement. My budget is about $700. So far I've come across these two:

So which one should I expect to run the newest games smoother. Is there another one better for that price ?

Hello and welcome to the forums
Both have a low-mid range card,so both will give you roughly the same performance in games,but the Acer model has a notably faster CPU.
An alternative laptop would be this HP

Which has 5650M(Faster than both 420M and 550v)
