both sucks the same,aint suitable for gaming ,unless you're the guy which plays games like mario, doom 3 and CS:GO on low.

I was looking for laptops under $500 which is alright, not the best, but alright enough to not lag when I play games

those PCs would have issues even with TF2, however for 600$-650$ or so you can find some which can handle em,maybe even on medium settings.

4GB RAM is enough for the low requirement games on low settings,but eh, those both PCs got the lowest end integrated GPUs which such so hard as a just born calf sucks upon cows nipple.

550$..hmm best would be second hand computer just because second hand parts are cheaper and they come with OS without extra payment, though I can try find something what could handle TF2 on low lets see:
