Might depend on the workload, but the MSI looks to win out in almost every way.

Full-fat 1060 (Max-Q has lower clocks), 120Hz panel.
On top of that, double the memory & SSD.

Weaker battery, which would give the edge to the G7 if you wanted to use on the go for longer periods of time, but they're not exactly worlds apart there.
