Hello every one ,,

So I was wondering which laptop I should buy between these ?

the first one is Toshiba c850-b717
CPU : I7-3630qm
RAM : 6 GB
HDD : 1 TB
GPU : Radeon HD 7610

& the other one is Lenovo y570
CPU : Intel Core i7 2670QM
RAM : 6 GB
HDD : 750 GB
GPU : GT 555m

I would play some games if I Bought one of these laptops like
tomb raider
Black ops 1 & 2
Battlefield 3
Skyrim

the graphics quality is not important to me

Thanks ..

The Toshiba will be harder to find, depending on where you live... From what I've read it looks like it was only released on the Arabian market according to this thread in the Toshiba forums:
http://

I just bought a laptop a couple days ago with the i7-3630qm and it seems to be doing alright so far. I don't know much about the Lenovo though.

can you wait a month or 2? if so lenovo should have restocked their y480/p and y580 laptops which are more up to date. the base models should include a middle class 3rd gen i7 and 660m graphics, maybe even 750m (highest middle class graphics available) if they've updated them more. i woudl recommend waiting, but if not then i'd go for the lenovo as toshiba has the worst build quality in the industry, it may last 2 years if you're lucky. you may also be able to find a y480 or y580 online, go for i7 3xxx rather than i7 2xxx.

Are they used laptops?

The current generation of the Y580 has a nVidia GT 700 series graphics chip and an Ivy Bridge generation core i3/i5/i7 CPUs. The GT 555m is an overclocked GT 550m and it was released about 2 years ago. It is roughly around the performance of a GT 640m / GT 730m. The GT 555m is still pretty decent for a mix of low and medium quality settings at 1366 x 768 resolution. The Core i7 2670QM is a Sandy Bridge generation CPU, however, assuming the same clockspeed, an Ivy Bridge CPU is only about 6% faster on average.

I suspect that new laptops may be released later in some Arabic countries compared to western and many European countries. So while new Intel Haswell based laptops are going to be released next month or early July, your country may not receive them for several more months.

Because the Radeon HD 7610m simply does not compete with the older GT 555m. Depending on the game I would say the GT 555m is at least 20% more powerful than the Radeon HD 7610m.
