Which Laptop Should I Buy?

My school requires that I purchase a laptop and recommends the ThinkPad Yoga X390 at a discounted $1.170 and was wondering if that is the best deal for a laptop.

The Requirements:
Operating System- Windows 10 Home
Do not purchase Windows RT 8.1, Windows 10 Mobile or Windows 10s
Touch Screen Compatible
Processor- Intel i3 or above
Memory- 8GB RAM
Hard Drive- 256GB or more
SSD- I would like one to have it
Optional: 4 Year Warranty and Accident Insurance.

What you get depends on what you want in a system not just the requirements you listed.

The Yoga is nice, but it's a premium system that is well over the requirements. It's light and can be used as a tablet with good specs. If you are OK with the price, then it's as good as any other $1,000 convertible laptop.
