Which laptop should I get ASUS K501UX (intel i5) vs ASUS K550JX-XX280T (intel i7)

Im getting a laptop and these are my two choices

ASUS K501UX (I can only get the i5 since the i7 is unavailable)

I'll be using this laptop mostly for school and light gaming, games that I'll be playing Fallout 4, Sims 4, Skyrim, and GTA V also which laptop's battery lasts longer?

Hi,

If the ASUS K550JX-XX280T will already come with 12GB of RAM I would go for it since it will be a good configuration together with it's CPU and GPU.
