Hi there,

Before showing you the laptops I've seen so far let me please tell you my requirements to see what you think. I will want to moderately game on this machine, it will replace my desktop and I'm not expecting desktop performance out of it. I'll be playing Elder Scrolls Online, BF4 and Skyrim mainly. All I want is half decent appearance and decent framerates.

I also really want a backlit keyboard, it sounds petty but its a serious must. Other than that I guess Windows 7 would be a bonus and a nice keyboard would be a winner.

Here's what I've seen so far. I'm torn between the graphics chip (8870m or 750m) and one has the slightly higher amount of RAM but not as nice body. I'm also concerned about the processor being a significant bottleneck.

The budget is £600 realistically so these two would be ideally sat in that range to consider an SSD in the next month or two.

Which one do you recommend or does anyone have some other suggestions?

Many thanks

The Inspiron 17R Laptop has a better gpu for sure and has more memory(8gb) so Inspiron 17R Laptop is good to go.but don't expect to play those games more than high settings, you will be good at medium settings with the native resolution of the unit.

Hey thanks for this I was leaning towards that unit. Do you think for the price point its a reasonable buy or are there others on the market you know of worth a peak?

Thanks again
