Question Which mobile to get after nexus 6p

I have nexus 6p since 2017. It was working fine. I had no issue that it doesn't get any more Google update etc.
After 2020, battery started to cause issues. At first few months I didn't notice this but it randomly shuts down even at 60. This issue got worse. It now shuts down even at 75.
As I am typing, I have it charging because I don't want to lose what I wrote.
There are ways like replace the battery and sale it etc etc. But to be honest, I don't want to do. I am more than happy to pack it in it's box .
So my budget is $300 to get a new phone. My requirements are just simple i.e it has good battery, screen size above 5". That's it. If you any suggestions, I am more than happy to listen to it.

the pixel 3 XL is available new from amazon. it can be bootloader unlocked and easily flashed with something more to your liking.

It goes on sale for sub $400 every now and again. I cannot in good conscience recommend you buy a used phone.

In the $300 range are OnePlus phones.
