Hello.
Both CPUs are quad core and with +1Ghz boost.
The difference is only 400Mhz which could be 20% real performance.
Lenovo has the edge here.
But the difference in the GPU is bigger. Judgin by 3DMark11 numbers, 8650G has 1250marks and 8750M has 1750marks. The difference is around 40%. Acer is far ahead here.
In the end its your choice what's your main reason for this laptop.
Personally I would choose the Acer's laptop if gaming was priority. In any other reason the faster CPU, more RAM and double HDD capacity makes no brainer to choose Lenovo's.

I would probably go with the Acer to keep the machine more rounded, it has a much better GPU, while the CPU is still good. That being said, i'd probably also add another 4GB of ram to it after i bought it because 4GB is a bit low (many people can get by with 4 though). I like Asus build quality as well, i've never been very impressed with the lenovo aesthetic (my work machine is a lenovo lappy) and they fail left and right on us...

Darn. I have been researching the Lenovo G505s. Most reviewers say the same thing: "Looks good on paper, but poor on performance" or "poor performance when plugged in" or "problems with Lenovo G505s" or "flimsy quality". That's too bad because the Lenovo looked promising.

I'll plan on the Acer but I will go shopping more. If maybe you guys can help me find a good AMD computer around $500-$550?

Another thing... the Acer is only DDR3-1333. The Lenovo is DDR3-1600
