Operating system Windows 10
PERFORMANCE
Processor - Intel® Core™ i5-8300H Processor
- Quad-core
- 2.3 GHz / 4.0 GHz
- 8 MB cache
RAM - 8 GB DDR4 (2133 MHz)
- 32 GB maximum installable RAM
Graphics card - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050
- 4 GB GDDR5

OR

Operating system Windows 10
PERFORMANCE
Processor - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U Processor
- Quad-core
- 2.0 GHz / 3.6 GHz
- 4 MB cache
RAM - 8 GB DDR4 (2133 MHz)
- 32 GB maximum installable RAM
Graphics card - AMD Radeon RX 560X
- 4 GB GDDR5

I'm sure there is probably not much in it, but due to the low end entry point, I want to milk what I can out of it.

Thanks

Undoubtedly the first one is better. Intel® Core™ i5-8300H Processor has 74.1 % effective CPU speed whereas AMD Ryzen 5 2500U Processor has 55.2 % only. Also the base clock speed of Intel processor is 2.3GHz unlike AMD processor with 2GHz.
