which one is better for school a macbook air or a msi laptop

I need a laptop for school and it should cost lower than 1000. I would like to use it for gaming too. I am going to be using it for world of Warcraft and league of legends. But, I will also be using this for school. I will keep this laptop at home and use my Chromebook for school. But, the pricing does matter. A 11-15.6 inch laptop should be good. It will be used for posting YouTube videos and editing. I will be running Skype on this laptop. I will get this during the summer and should be a back to school computer.

What is more important to you? Looks+battery life+portability or gaming performance. If looks, battery life and portability are more important, go with the macbook air, and for gaming, go with the MSI, it will be much better

There are plenty of other choices as well apple and MSI aren't the only ones that make good laptops.

Really depends on what you want to do with it.

You want OS X get a Mac
You need a unix base get a Mac or you could load Linux on a different laptop Dell even sells some preloaded as does system76

Gaming with a 980m get something like this

970m This or this or the various ASUS/MSI's etc.

You want macbook like but with windows get the Razer Blade stealth you want light gaming in a lightweight package the regular blade

2 in ones? you've got the SP4 surface book Dell has some HP as well.

There are literally hundreds of options that cover basically everything depending on your requirements.

Hence it’s a hard choice, yet if you want to play game by using laptop, you should look at MSI gaming laptop more.
