So my budget is 40000rs and these two laptops are nearly touching my budget range.
I want the one between the two which is more good for gaming....

2.) Lenovo Essential G505s 59-380146

So which one whould i go for ...as far as my gaming is concerned.....

Solution
yeah definitely, and one thing to note nvidia graphics cards are not always better and the cpu is of low voltage type which performs lower than a normal i5 but it still is more powerful than the cpu in lenovo.

But the graphics memory of lenevo is gddr3 as compared to ddr3 memory of hp

and dedicated memory of lenevo is 2.5 gb and the hp has only 2 gb......

more vram doesn't always stand for better performance. The 820m is definitely faster but not by much and the cpu is also better than that of lenovo's
(you should mark the thread solved if you've got no more questions:))

Actually you are right....because the graphics in hp are of nvidia...and the processor will turbo boost itself to 2.7 ghz and a intel i5 at 2.7 ghz will run like a beast .....and the ram can be increased to 8 or 16 gb later in future..and as far as the brand name is considered hp is more trustable as my brother owns a hp laptop......and his lenevo smart phone got cracked on screen:pt1cable: .....so should i go for HP....? Here's some data from notebookcheck.

This is the data for the for Lenovo one with the dual graphics of the 8650G + 8570M: http://www.notebookcheck.net/AMD-Radeon-HD-8650G-HD-8570M-Dual-Graphics.104339.0.html

This is the data for the HP one with the 820m: http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-820M.108477.0.html

Neither one is that great and they trade blows when it comes to graphics/gaming power. Some games can't properly utilize the dual graphics in the Lenovo one. The i5 in the HP should be more powerful than the A10 in the Lenovo. Don't worry about the 2.5gb vram vs 2gb vram - neither gpu can realistically use more than 1gb vram unless you connect to a higher resolution external monitor/tv. Also, don't worry too much about GDDR3 vs DDR3. Just look at which games you want to play and see what benchmarks each graphics card got for those games.

Besides, the Lenovo one is out of stock and I think the HP one is a little better.

thanx ...for the advice i appreciate it and im choosing H.P.

One last question.....will the core i 5 's performance at 2.7 ghz turbo boost be similar to a core i5 2.7 ghz at stock....
