Which is better for gaming, 2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M (128 bit version) or 1GB GDDR5 Radeon HD 6770M?

And/Or which laptops has more bang for buck?

ASUS G53SX-XT
$917.90 Shipped (From Amazon)

HP DV7T QE
$954.19 Shipped with coupon (Maybe +150 for HD Screen?)

I heard HP has overheatting problems, but not sure of recent models. Anyone have any insight on HP's Full HD Ultra BrightView Screen and if it's worth it?

I'll be using laptop for gaming + livestreaming (Maybe something like Skyrim on High/Medium)
Ideally, looking to spend ~$1,000 for:
Needs a good video card
Needs Quad Core with at least 2.0mhz clock speed
Needs 6-8gb Ram
Prefer 500+ gb 7200rpm hdd
Prefer 15+ size, 1920x1080 resolution
Prefer Bluray read
Like Bluetooth
Like Webcam
Like 8-9cell batteries

I live in the US and trying to see if these options are best I could get even during Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales.

Thats a no brainer. ASUS is the best of two. If you could pick the older GTX460M graphics in the older generation of the same laptop it would be even better, because the 1.5GB 460M is marginally better than 2GB 560M which is actually a 'lower' model of the original 1.5GB 560M which you find in ASUS G74s. It has more RAM, but performance-wise it is ~15% lower due to low bandwidth.
2GB 560M = 128 bit - 40 GT/s bandwidth
1.5GB 560M = 192 bit - 60 GT/s bandwidth

In anycase the AMD 6770M is comparable to Nvidia 550/555M and almost 40% slower than 560M.

Good luck with your new laptop!

Awesome, thanks! It was the answer I was looking for as I couldn't find much info on the gimped 560m. And is the 6770M 40% slower than the 560M 128 bit or the better 1.5gb 560m 192 bit version?

The 6770M is slower than the 1.5GB 560M 192 bit version which is the standard GPU.
You can see it yourself. Go here. Scroll down and click compare button on any game under any setting and you can see the % improvement in 560M or comparable cards.

Check these info on the gimped 560M.
