white line on laptop screen

Hi,
Normally if it's just 1 small line and if you contact the manufacturer of the laptop they will not replace the LCD right away. Do try some of these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- First is to do a clean install of the graphics card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the graphics card driver.
- Once done, open Programs and Features and uninstall anything related to the graphics card.
- Next is to download and install the latest driver from the manufacturers site.
Nvidia: nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
AMD: http
/support.amd.com/en-us/download
- Reboot your laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot do test it again.
- If all these will not work and the same problem will persist and if it's really blocking some part of the screen I would suggest replacing it already.

well, because it's on the condition where only if i press on a certain place on screen, the white line appears. so, i think i can just consider the hardware problems, not software, right??
