white screen problem in Lenovo ideapad flex 10

When i turn on my Lenovo idea pad flex 10, only white screen comes. so please give the solution.

Does it still show the Lenovo logo before it goes into a white screen? If it does, try connecting an external monitor and see if you'll see a display. If it works normal on the external monitor that means it might have something to the built in display of your laptop. You need to check the flex cable that connects the LCD into the motherboard see if there's any damage on it. Lastly, repair or replacement might be needed with the display.

Try taking the battery out and unplugging the laptop. Keep the battery out and plug it back in and turn it on. It works.

I had the white screen problem. The HDMI still worked, so I took the bottom cover off, following one of the youtube guide. I found that the plug that connects the screen to the mother board had worked loose, I pushed it back in and wedged it in place with a small roll of paper, so that it should not work loose again. PROBLEM SOLVED

Phil, I think I have that exact problem. Can you tell me exactly how you "found that the plug that connects the screen to the mother board had worked loose, I pushed it back"?

OK, this worked for me, but first i'll explain in detail. I had white screen of death always on, my flex 10 would not turn off, with the light beside power button on RH side continually flashing in standby mode. I thought I tried every combination on keyboard to start flex 10, but nothing worked. However, this worked for me. Holding down the Fn and F1 keys together, started the Lenovo boot logo and booted into the Microsoft login screen, all solved.
