I have not yet decided what I am going to buy, but I am about to drop at least $1500 on a laptop which is a lot for me. The current laptop that I am typing this on is 7 years old and still running (relatively strong). I am debating which plan to buy. The three I am considering are; 1)Best Buy's Geek Squad Black Tie Protection Plan, Square Trade, and Worth Ave Group. The appeal of Worth Ave. Group and Best Buy is that their plans seem to be renewable indefinitely. I'm not sure about the other companies but I read a really bad experience with Best Buy and the information they had on what constituted "extensive damage" which they would not cover seemed extremely vague and like it would just be up to the powers that be (and who are interested in profits of course). As such I'm pretty hesitant to fork over between $300 and $500, any suggestions?

I should add that using my laptop in a high loft bed and bring it on my commute to work (on a motorcycle) are some of the reasons that I need accident coverage. I'm looking for a company (3rd party or one affiliated with the product or retailer) that is solid and dependable.
