Why are there little white dots on my 3d 60 inch mitsubishi screen

I have 8 white dots on the left side of my tv screen

If your Mitsubishi is a DLP rear projector then the DLP chip is causing the problem,
The picture is produced by reflecting light off of tiny moving flaps on the chip. When the flaps fail you get a white dot for that spot (like a dead pixel on an LCD). Call Mitsubishi about replacing the chip.
