Why Did The Output Turn Pick??

I have an IBM T400 laptop with Windows 7 that I hook to my Vizio HDTV in order to watch youtube video's. I've been using the VGA cable as the connecting cable. I use a separate cable for audio. The other day while setting it up again( I frequently disconnect my laptop for ease of use) the picture on the Vizio tv lost all color except for pink. Any idea what happened? I've gone through every setting I can think of to no avail.

Bad cable. You might be able to see the color or picture quality fluctuate if you move the cable some at the connection while it's plugged in. Try a new VGA cable and see if you have the same issue.
