Why does Fortnite on lowest settings still heavily lag?

I play on my laptop with
i5-8250u cpu
geforce 940mx gpu
4gb ram

I turn down all the settings and even the resolution, still Fortnite keeps getting fps drops.

Your GPU and CPU are good enough to run the game, but it's the 4 GB of memory that's really hurting your performance. Upgrading it 8 GB or even higher should solve the frame drops! Cheers!
