Why does my dell inspiron e1505 screen go black after about 2 min when i plug it

my dell inspiron e1505 will make my screen go black after about 2 min its been on the charger and its not inactivity because i still use it after i plug it in the screen will just go black i already looked in power options but cant find a setting to change it

What screen brightness are you using?
Turn screen brightness down to ~20% and check how long it takes to go dark.
Do the same at 50% and 80% settings.
