Why doesnt my phone switch on

when my phone (samsung galaxy ace) shut down suddenly, i cant switch it back on. i tried removing the batteries and charging it but none of them works. please help!

As in no power to the device? Try it with only the mains/AC connected to the phone (battery removed). What were you doing when it shut down?

Pretty unfortunate that it happened just before xmas.
