Question Why is the frames per second i get lower when my laptop is not charged?

When i charge my laptop, the frames per second i get in game is higher. But when i unplug the charger the frames per second i get in game is lesser

The reason the frames drop when unplugged is because the laptop was designed to preserve as much power as possible. But you figured it out. Congrats.

I assume you're running Windows 10, so just go into control panel and change the power plan to high performance.
